Welcome!

Welcome to my genealogy project. Building on my paternal grandmother's (Virginia Powers Twyman) genealogical studies I am researching our ancestry with the goal of writing a family history within the context of world and social history to better understand how they lived. While my efforts will focus on the following family lines: Greenlee (Twyman, Shaw, Stephan), and Murillo (Claros, Huerta, Cardenas), I will collaborate with tangential family lines that intersect with mine as well: Eduardo, Stafford, Kirkwood, McCown. For the sake of privacy, I provide access to immediate family members only. However, if you feel you have a genealogy tree that intersects with one the families I'm researching, and you think we could mutually benefit from sharing information, please email me at: info@roots-and-leaves.com.

Are we cousins?
[1] Please explore my public genealogy tree from the menus on this page.
[2] Identify an ancestral link on the tree that matches one in your genealogy tree
[3] Provide details on how we are related:

  • Who are we related to?
  • What facts are missing or incorrect?
  • When did our common ancestor live?
  • Where did our common ancestor live?
  • Why do you think we're related?
  • How do you think we're related?
[4] And let's help each other expand our ancestry trees.
